recovery-oriented systems of care. It offers practical examples of how behavioral health professionals
and organizations can incorporate the types of recovery-focused services and
supports that have been proven effective for persons with mental health and

understand the basics of clinical evaluation from diagnosis, to case
conceptualization, to treatment planning. Four (4) continuing education credits or clock/contact hours are available after successful course completion.
This 3-hour course is offered at no cost. The purpose of the course is to help participants better understand PWIDs and why this population is considered high-priority by funders and policy makers. It will also review effective strategies for working with injection drug using populations.

It examines the gender-specific barriers that women with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health disorders often experience when attempting to access treatment and recovery supports. It also explores the rationale and specific methods for creating and sustaining welcoming environments for women. 3 continuing education or contact/clock hours are offered.
